Sivakarthikeyan's “Doctor” will be a gift for his fans on the occasion of Ramazan
The makers of “Doctor” have recently announced that they are postponing the release of the movie due to the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. The Tamil movie was initially slated for release on March 26, but the makers announced that they are postponing the release due to the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. They also informed that more updates about the release will be available soon.
KJR Studios, the production house behind Doctor, took to Instagram to announce the film’s new release date and captioned the status as - We're bringing #DoctorForRamzan Get ready to meet Dr. Varun & Co in theaters this Ramzan. In the meantime, we urge you to go vote. See you in the Cinemas.”

Doctor, proclaimed to be a dark comedy, is directed by filmmaker Nelson Dilip and financed by Sivakarthikeyan under his home banner. Nelson and Sivakarthikeyan have teamed up for the first time for this venture. Actor Priyanka Mohan can be seen playing the role opposite Sivakarthikeyan in Doctor. The other popular actors featured in “Doctor” are Vinay, Yogi Babu, Ilavarasu, and Archana.
